The PCFF and its activities are creating great interest around the world, and we are offered the opportunity to collaborate with many organizations, wishing to learn from our experience and our efforts to solve the conflict. Youth and young adults from bereaved PCFF families, travel to different parts of the world, to places like Japan, Italy and the USA, bringing with them messages of peace and reconciliation.
The participating youth learn about the culture of the hosting country and meet state officials, intellectuals and academics, media representatives and other youth groups from the hosting countries.

Delegation of teens to Italy – Fiori Di Pace – 2016

A project organized and sponsored by the Italian magazine “Confronti”, promoting meetings between Israeli, Palestinian and Italian youth. The purpose of these meetings is to create a dialogue between the participants, to learn and understand each other’s perspective, and discuss non-violent ways for managing conflict situations.

Hagai Amitai, age 18, from Kibbutz Gvulot:
“A few days ago, I returned from a special trip to Italy, along with ten Israeli and Palestinian teenagers, boys and girls, all different from each other; One city girl, a boy from a moshav (farming community), a girl from a village and a boy from a refugee camp. We all share one thing in common: bereavement.
The first days were spent mostly in feeling each other out, and slowly we started to get to know each other.
We spent most of the journey in Forli, an old picturesque city in Italy. We met with young locals and through mutual dialogue we all shared our personal stories. It was a heartfelt conversation with lots of emotions and tears, from which we emerged with the understanding that bereavement and suffering are the sentiments we all live with.
During our stay in Forli, we took part in workshops about the lives of Israelis and Palestinians and about the conflict, and we participated in activities about co-existence and peace.
We returned to our homes from this journey tired and very hopeful, with the understanding that peace is an important commodity.”
