Paper art depicts the stories of twenty women and expresses their hope for change
The exhibition ran in several places in the UK
The PCFF women’s group created a unique exhibition entitled “Fabric of War” with the courtesy and support of Mr. Nick DuBois from London.
Twenty Palestinian and Israeli women participated in the project, made paper from materials associated with their lost loved ones, and created works that tell their personal stories and expresses their hope for change.
Work on the project was cathartic for the women in the group, who by letting go of something belonging to their loved ones, were able to step further into the realization that they will never return.
The paper exhibition ran during the month of November 2010 in the UK.
