سمادار قتلت عام 1997. كان عمرها 14 سنة.

أهلاً سماداري، حبيبتي…

إلى اليوم وبعد السنوات العديدة التي مرّت منذ ذلك اليوم الفظيع، حين اختفيتِ عنا إلى الأبد، في كل مرة أفتح هاتفي المحمول وأرى وجهك الجميل عليه، يتوقف قلبي عن الخفقان ويجمد الدم في عروقي.

إنك موجودة داخلي. كل الوقت. 59 ثانية كل دقيقة، في كل ساعات النهار والليل، في كل مرة من جديد. الزمن لا يداوي الجرح، والسهولة التي لا تُحتمل لمواصلة الوجود تبقى لغزاً أبدياً. غير مفكوك الشيفرة. أبداً. وأنا مشتاق إليك كل الوقت. لابتسامتك المشاغبة، لغرفتك الفوضوية، لصديقاتك، اللواتي أصبحن بالغات اليوم، مع أطفال لهن. وفقط أنتِ بقيتِ طفلة صغيرة. إلى أبد الآبدين. طفلة صغيرة لم تفعل شيئاً سيئاً لأي إنسان.

منذ ذهابك، تغيرت حياتي كلياً. من طرف لآخر. أصبحتُ شخصاً مختلفاً. كل صباح، أطير راكباً دراجتي النارية السوداء إلى بيت جالا لمقابلة أخي بسام. هو أيضاً فقد ابنته الحبيبة عبير وهي في العاشرة من عمرها، نحن الإثنان ومنذ أن التقينا، أصبحنا أكثر من أخوين. نركض نحن الإثنان من أُذن لأخرى، ومن قلب لآخر، نحكي ونحاول إقناع اليهود والعرب وكل العالم، بأن ما جرى لطفلتينا ليس قضاءً وقدراً، وأنه بالإمكان إيقاف عجلة الدماء، وأنه لا يوجد أي طريق آخر سوى طريق التحادث والمصالحة.

هل كنتِ ستصدّقين أن والدك، الفوضوي، سيصبح في أحد الأيام ناشطاً سياسياً يحارب الإحتلال؟ هل كنتِ لتصدّقين أنه سيأتي اليوم الذي يصبح فيه والدك الفرداني المتطرف، سوية مع أخيه بسام عرامين، مديرين عامين لمنتدى العائلات الثكلى؟ عائلات إسرائيلية وفلسطينية؟

يعطينا هذا النشاط سبباً لمغادرة الفراش كل صباح، يدفعنا للبحث عن معنى للموت الذي لا داعي له إلى هذا الحد، موت عبير، موتك، موت صديقاتك. موت هذا العدد الكبير من الأبرياء الطاهرين. من الشعبين.

وأنا أشعر فعلاً، طيلة الوقت، أنك تقفين خلفي، تنظرين من وراء كتفي وتهمسين لي:
نعم يا أبي، واصل! هذه هي الطريق. لا يوجد غيرها.
